So possibly I may have hit a new level of sad if I’m updating this blog, which nobody reads, in my lunch break. But whatever, I have nothing to do for the next 23 minutes and seeing as the photo I wanted to use for this entry was already uploaded ready, I see no problem in doing so. Nobody really cares about what I do anyway. :/

Sunday night I met up with an old friend of mine to go check out a jam session for his new band, Support the Dead and take some promotional ‘behind the scenes’ photographs for them. Their drummer was in Leicester that weekend, and so without a drummer they found it really difficult to get into the swing of things, but they did manage to get hold of a drummer for another band to perform the song ‘Severed’ which was actually really good. The rest of their stuff was experimental, but considering they only formed a few weeks ago, I think there’s some definite potential for the band. Plus they’re a bunch of really nice guys so I was glad to take out some of my spare time to do the photography for them. I’ve still got a ton of editing and photos to go through, but I’m really happy with how some of them turned out (such as the photo on the left.)

However..! My night was slightly ruined as on the way back home I stopped at an ATM to get some money to pay for a taxi, and the machine charged me and didn’t give me my money. So what should have cost me £10 cost me £21.85. Suffice to say…. I wasn’t happy. I went down to my bank though the next day and they were great and filled out an ATM dispute form for me. The only downside is that it’s gonna take 4 – 6 weeks (!!!) to get my money back. But at least I am getting it back.

Aside from that, things have been quiet for me. For some reason my legs have been really hurting, which is making walking SO difficult at the minute, but being the awesome being that I am, I am persevering and going on (…more accurately because my parents told me to). Aside from that, the only other major thing worth mentioning/gloating about is that I got some very good lovin’ from the boyfriend yesterday. I kid you not, best ever.

I want to play on The Sims 2. And I still have 13 minutes until my lesson begins. Dang.
