So I called up Student Finance and after much pratting about with a Taffy, I was told that to obtain the maintenence grant, an income-based assessment needs to be done.
Okay, that’s fine, I have no problem with that. Except for the small fact that when I handed my forms in, I asked if I’d need to do an income-based assessment to get the grant and they said no. Which probably means by the time the grant is actually processed, I’ll be getting my money in December, and I have to live on £86. Good game, Student Finance.
On the upside, when it comes through I’ll have a lot of money to play with. In theory.
Also, I finally have an idea for my uni project. Now to cram in a summer’s worth of work into a week.
